Dakota is our early riser. She used to get up around 5:30am or so, but now she's sleeping in until about 6:45am. This is a cute, sleepy picture of her one morning around 5:30am, snuggled up in her favorite pink blanket. Dee and I have had lots of fun, one-on-one time in the early mornings after Daddy has gone to school.

Dakota loves shoes. I always thought mothers trained their daughters to like shoes, but not this girl. Dakota thinks she should sleep in her shoes, and is fairly adamant that everyone else should be wearing shoes, too. As of late, Dakota enjoys wearing Taylor's shoes, as they are easier to put on than her own.
